We wanted to take a moment to communicate to you, our valued customers, partners, and friends of Hayes Pump Inc., the operational changes we have made in response to the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We have spent the last 10 years building a state-of-the-art infrastructure that provides redundancy and remote capabilities to all our operating and communication systems in the event we were to find ourselves in the type of challenge we face today.
As you’re aware, the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), has continued to impact many facets of our personal and professional lives. The safety and well-being of our employees and customers is always our primary concern. Effective today,
- We have repositioned most of our sales, accounting, and operational staff to work remotely from their homes. Each employee has their laptop and phone connected to our network, so they have all the same resources to handle our customers’ needs as they do when they are in our offices. Our operators will handle all calls from their remote locations and ensure you are able to reach our team to handle any of your needs.
- Each office continues to have staff vital to our service and warehouse capabilities consisting of warehouse personnel, service personnel and management to allow our distribution functions to continue without interruption.
- We will continue with this model for the foreseeable future. We are constantly monitoring the decisions made by our vendors, suppliers and partners, as well as guidance and mandates by local, state and federal agencies. In the event something changes and requires us to adjust our operating plan we will communicate that change to you.
For now we want you to know we are leveraging our investments in technology to ensure that our outside and inside application engineers, inside sales and customer service teams, as well as our repair and field service teams are ready to work with you as we all navigate the current operating environment.
